Surface Design & Typographic Design
Focusing on feminine-presenting teenagers and young adults for a series of illustrations with intent of product applications, I took inspiration from 60s and 70s fashion and patterns that have resurfaced amongst the fashion and design world.
I created a hand-rendered typeface and dubbed it “Kickin’ It!”, for it’s high heel-like serifs on the bottom of many of the letterforms.
