Las Vegas Map: Old Neon & Showgirls

This illustrated map was created to highlight historic neon signs and showgirl productions in Las Vegas. In this project:
- I successfully combined visual information on 3 levels. Spatial, representational, and stylistic.
- Practiced digital optimization for GIF usage

My Illustration thesis concept came about because of a multitude of reasons; the main being my love for animals and my knowledge of the veterinarian industry.
My Mother is a practicing veterinarian with over 20 years of experience, and she has to wear scrubs every day for work. Something she’s expressed frustration over is how she's limited to plain colored scrubs, because patterned scrubs currently on the market look less professional. To address this, I created a collection of patterns for scrubs and fabric to provide a mature yet amusing way to share one's love for animals without the risk of looking unprofessional in the medical field.
My thesis ranged across multiple fields of practice, including:
- Creating 5 separate patterns with 5 colorways each, making over 30 separate versions for fabric usage.
- Designed and published a 60+ page book documenting the process and showcasing designs. Available on Amazon for purchase.
- Physical production of a patterned scrub top using my own cockatiel fabric pattern

West Allis Farmers Market Poster

For the 2025 Farmers Market season, the City of West Allis hired me to make collectible posters for their award winning market.
In this project, I:
- Worked with the City Leaders on visual direction
- Developed 6 different poster roughs - moving forward with the chosen design
- Thoughtfully used imagery and tone to convey freshness & sustainability
- Ensured the final print product met specifications for various formats and display environments
TREK Fetch+

In 2023, TREK Bikes worked with MIAD illustration students to have posters made to advertise their newest Electric Bike line: the Fetch+2 and Fetch+4 models.
During the project:
- I worked closely with the creative team to implement feedback
- Showcased the versatility of the cargo options, targeting young-adult European families
- Won an award for my poster, being 1 of 5 finalists for the bike posters.
